TDIC Projects

Read this doc on Scribd: Emirates Pearl

My partner Sanad and I researched Emirates pearl. You can see our Power Point about its best features embedded below and it has a lot of pictures and voices. Also there is a video about that emirate pearl that you can see below.

The project I liked the most was Eastern Mangrove because the location which is in Cornish and also the accommodation, it has 52 luxury with 3 bed apartments with 92 marina apartments. Then I liked the Cultural Saadiyat Island which has Arts centre, Marina Museum and Sheikh Zayed national museum.

The least interesting project was Qasr ALSarab since its in the desert and the storm may destroy it any time. Also children’s playground which maybe children get sick because of the sand and luxury health spa it should be little not many because city needs it more than those who are in the desert. Also the Abu Dhabi creek business Resort it has a bad leisure beauty par lour which will corrupt some peoples minds and the business or meeting facilities which has a small space the entrance view of the hotel is not good.

There are too many technologies. Does it affect our future? And will it change the global warming and temperature? I think the more we have technology the more we have problems going to happen

Cool City Comments

Good adaptations

Indeed by having a rich greenery and water surrounding enhances the city. The city benefits from such greenery because it makes the air fresh from littering and pollution. Another good maybe favorable factor is the Jatropha forest because too much shifting of the sand causes smog and dust in the air which causes co2 accumulation. But the Jatropha forest creates oil and prevents sand shifting. Another good and helpful consideration is the root top membrane which filters and softens through light. This makes heat efficient and allows us to get the essential amount of heat we need.

Bad adaptations

It might be a bad benefit for some people in the residential zone being arranged to walk by foot. It could be close and good for global warming, but a lot of people prefer traveling once in a while by car. Maybe another bad effect is the canal, if you are traveling by the way of the wind; you are not gong to where you want as fast. It might also be unwise to use solar powered farms, because plants actually need the fresh sunlight to be strong and prosperous.
